I am a surgeon and a female. I am a mother of two. I used to be a wife. I try to be a good friend, a good provider, a loyal daughter, a good mother and a caring and excellent doctor. And not necessarily in that order. Training and becoming a surgeon was exhilarating and exhausting. It was fascinating and dehumanizing. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and took years. I have wanted to write about my experiences training and being a surgeon for a while. I do not think I have anything particularly profound to share but I have seen alot about life and death over the years.
